I received a good question about my episode about "much wine." How can one hold the interpretation of Scripture that drinking alcohol in any amount is sinful and yet Paul in Romans 14 mentions drinking wine in context and connection with Scruple, a matter of personal conscience?

The topic of beverage alcohol for social consumption is a hot topic and much debated...well, everywhere. Today we are going to look forward be examining the past. In the long ago the children of Israel were back from captivity and they needed to build God's House. They had allowed outside influences to discourage them to the point where they stopped. They became idle. Haggai delivers an admonition of encouragement warning them to start again to build God's House. There is a lesson in this for us today. I hope you are encouraged to do your part to build God's House.
