about 10 biblical principles for life s6e5
Friday Jan 05, 2024
Friday Jan 05, 2024
I saw a quote on facebook about some advice a man got that was really good but also very simple. It got me thinking...what if we thought about some life advice that met three criteria, simple, practice, should go without saying. In this episode I'll share the list I came up with and we can talk about the principles from the Bible that make up the list.

We have talked extensively about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. A question was asked by a listener about the baptism of fire closely associated with Holy Spirit baptism. Today we will answer that question. We will also take viewer questions live. Hopefully you will be edified and informed.
We're back! Today's episode will be a little broad. The main thing we want to do is talk about the implications of a policy that allows parents to just turn in an unwanted child relinquishing parental rights. This is sure to be a lively discussion. We hope you'll join in.

about why I practice Christianity s5e242

I was once asked why I was a Christian. Rather than giving a testimony about my salvation I simply said, because even if it were all a myth it is still the best way to live. I believe that. From studying through the Psalms I was hit squarely in the head with that principle. I hope I say someting today that makes you want to live for Jesus. There is no life like it nor as good as it.

one of my favorite turn of phrases is found in Psalm 126:5, "they that sow in tears shall reap in joy." In this episode of Cogitations we'll talk about the comfort of this phrase and how it informs our walk of faith in Christ.
Here is an article I wrote on the subject:

I love the parables. Jesus teaches so much through them. In this episode we'll talk about some thoughts I have had and have been cogitating about our duty as evangelists to prepare the heart for the Word. I hope you'll tune in and take a listen.

Parasocial Relationships was a phenomenon that was first documented in relation to fans of celebrities or public figures. It now describes the relationship between people who only know one another online. We seem to be losing our grip on reality through the engineering of social media and as a result pathological narcissistic behavior has become the norm and even defended in come cases. In this podcast I hope to show a microcosm of this through my interactions with a couple of people of the last couple of days. I hope I say something that encourages and edifies you.
Here is the article about parasocial relationships: https://www.forbes.com/health/dating/parasocial-relationships/#:~:text=Parasocial%20relationships%20are%20not%20inherently,%2Dbeing%2C”%20she%20adds.

This is one of my favorite topics. There are several logical arguments for the existence of God. In Paul's Mars Hill sermon 6 of them can be found. If you have been listening for any length of time this will be old material for you. If you are new, I hope you like it. Either way, i believe this is material that is evergreen and bears repeating over again perhaps several times per year. I pray you are edified and informed.
