Does biblical silence prohibit or permit? The answer to this question might surprise you. I want us as a whole to start thinking of this a different way and to start using different language in relation to the topic of silence in Scripture. Take a listen and let me know what you think, but please only let me know what you think once you have listened.
Cogitations now has a Facebook page. If you want to contact me for show ideas or questions I can turn into a show it is now easier than ever. Please like and follow the page so we can build a community!

Thanks for the comment, and I agree totally, the instrumental music debate isn’t a matter of silence but acknowledging what we have been told to do.

I have never really liked how people have used the argument of silence. The often take it much further than what it means. I had a preacher do a lesson on mechanical instruments and said this is not an argument about silence but authority based on what we have been told to do. We have been told to sing therefore mechanical instruments are not authorized.
