Well, it is that time of year again. I am starting to see posts on my Facebook feed about the sin of charging people to learn the Bible. My thought when I see these is that these people should pay because they obviously are not learning anything for free. Take a listen to exactly what the Bible teaches about the right for folk who sow unto others spiritual things to reap of their carnal things....thats money, folks. By the way, most of this is because it is time for Polishing the Pulpit. For those of you who do not know, PTP is a yearly convention held in East Tennessee that has many speakers and about 5,000 Christians together for a week to learn the Bible more deeply and to grow closer in fellowship. They charge admission to this event and there is noting wrong with that.
